Hair Stylist (commision or chair rental)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of hair cutting, coloring, and styling services to our clients, as well as providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Consultation with clients to determine their hair care needs and preferences
• Providing hair cutting, coloring, and styling services including, but not limited to: haircuts, color, highlights, balayage, extensions, blowouts, and special occasion hair
• Upselling hair care products and styling tools to clients
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including restocking products and supplies as needed
• Scheduling appointments, handling customer inquiries and providing excellent customer service
• Staying current on industry trends and techniques through continuing education and training
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience working as a hair stylist in a salon or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Professionalism and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong portfolio of work

Upsell grooming products and tools to clients
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking products and supplies as needed

Stay current on industry trends and techniques through continuing education and training
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience working as a barber in a barbershop or similar setting
